St. Thomas is a very special place, everyone there is very warm and welcoming.  It is not just my place of worship, it is the place where I find peace from the outside world.  I believe that sharing in ministry with others helps to strengthen the community.  St. Thomas has become my spiritual family.

When I came to St. Thomas many years ago, I was impressed with how members made new people feel welcome. At the time, I was a member of another church, however, it never felt like home to me. When I returned to St. Thomas I knew I found my church home and family. I feel it is important to give as well as receive and that is why I joined the liturgical ministry serving as a reader and as an LEM Chalice bearer. My desire is to make newcomers feel as I felt when I first walked through the doors of St. Thomas.

St. Thomas is a place of peace and respite from the crazy world. Here I am surrounded by people who love me unconditionally. St. Thomas is home.

Having grown up in a non-Episcopal environment, it took 20 years to realize that the Episcopal Church provided the personal relationship with God that I had not found in other denominations. The more involved I became, the greater my beliefs increased in depth and intensity  that "praying without ceasing" is a really achievable goal of being aware of the presence of God's spirit constantly in my daily life. Through the services, programs and interactions of rectors and parishioners, I have found a like-minded group that can express the importance of living a faith-filled life, where we can discuss our beliefs, acknowledging our weaknesses and learn how to explore and build a stronger faith of love and joy.  St. Thomas gives me this challenge and I feel very honored that  I can participate in a very small part of this spiritual journey!!

The church provides an opportunity to support ministries such as City Camp and We're Just People -- in addition to supporting our own community of parishioners.  Hopefully the future will be bright for our church as the message of the Christian faith is indeed needed at this time of worldwide unrest.

I enjoy being a part of the St Thomas Community because of the friends I have met. They are welcoming, joyful and involved in making a difference in today’s world. Thank you for being a part of this amazing community.

To me, St. Thomas Episcopal Church is a place where everyone is welcome and a place where no-one is judged.  It is a place where the Love of Jesus Christ is real and a place where everyone feels they can have  say.  It is a place to go to recharge your batteries.

I find St. Thomas to be a place of faith, friendship, and rest througout the storms of life.  It is a gathering of people wholove God and love each other just as we are, as each of us was created.  Come join us!
